A fermentation crock is a vessel designed to hold cabbage and other veggies as they ferment. They vary in size all the way from 1-2 quarts (liters) approximately 45 quarts (liters).

A big crock-- vs. a small canning container-- is fantastic for effectively making large batches of sauerkraut, pickles, or other fermented vegetables.
